The GM10 Guitar Mic is a unique addition to the sE Electronics range, designed to solve an age old problem that occurs when recording acoustic guitars. Until now, there has always been a trade off between keeping a consistent mic position and capturing a natural performance. The result is often too clinical and lacks the performance element that can make or break a song. The GM10 is a true condenser (not electret) featuring a 3 micron thick, gold-sputtered capsule with a 14 mm diameter. A proprietary dual shock mount assembly is built into the capsule head and the universal clamping system enables the user to fix the mic in place on any flat-backed acoustic guitar. The capsule is then perfectly placed to record take after take from exactly the same position. The clamping mechanism and shock mount ensure that there is zero mechanical noise transferred through the guitar body. The GM10 Guitar Mic will transform the way you work in the studio.
