audioMIDI.com is the
web's leader in servicing
International customers.
To quickly answer your
questions we have provided
this page of answers to
the most frequently asked
questions about International
shipping.
Q: Do
you ship to.........
?
A: audioMIDI.com
will ship to any place
on the globe for which
delivery service through
an established carrier
is available. With a few
exceptions this covers
most of the world. In addition
we ship Internationally
every day and more than
likely are shipping to
your country.
In some rare cases we
may not be able to ship
certain products overseas
because the manufacturer
requires us not to compete
with their local distributor.
In these cases you will
be notified quickly.
Q: How
much will shipping cost
me?
A: On
every product page
is a "Shipping
Options" button that
will calculate shipping
via UPS. If this
calculator does not
list shipping options
for your country
please try entering a Postal
code if applicable. If
it still does not
list a rate, that means
that UPS does not provide
service to your country.
Please contact us here and we will determine what
the best way to get your
order to you is.
Q: Can
you ship it some way
besides UPS?
A: Absolutely.
Please contact us
at here and
we can discuss the
shipping options
with you.
Q: Parcel
post is so much cheaper,
can you send it that way?
A: Unfortunately
we cannot offer shipments
via Parcel post as these
packages are not trackable.
Q : Is
that the total cost of
my order / Do you charge
tax?
A: The
costs of the item and the
shipping are the total
that audioMIDI.com will
charge you. However, more
than likely your country
will charge you custom
fees. What these charges
are differ from country
to country and often are
difficult to calculate.
The best way to determine
what these charges are
is to contact your local
customs office. This number
is usually listed in your
phone book under goverment
agencies.
Q: Can
you declare the value
lower than the actual
value so I can avoid
paying duties?
A: Unfortunately
declaring less than the
true value is both a violation
of American law and the
laws of most other countries.
In addition, we could lose
the right to export to
your country should it
ever be discovered that
we were misrepresenting
the value. Also, we cannot
insure the package for
more than its declared
value, which in cases of
a mishandled package could
end up costing you a lot
more than you would save.
Q: If
something doesn't work,
can I return it?
A: Yes,
however some conditions
specific to International
sales apply. Shipping is
not credited, even in cases
of defective items. Also,
non-defective items will
be subject to a 15 percent
restocking fee.
Q: Can
I get support from my
local distributor?
A: In most
cases you will need to get
support from the distributor
in the U.S. since you effectively
bought the product in the
U.S. If you should need to
receive warranty support,
that would mean you would
need to send the item back
to the U.S. There are a few
cases where support is not
available either locally
or in the U.S. If you are
concerned about this, please
contact the company that
makes the product you wish
to purchase and find out
what their policies are.
Q: The power standard in my country is different than in the US, will I be able to run this device in my country.
A: This varies widely from device to device. Many devices, especially those with internal power supplies are switchable to other standards. Other devices may require a special adapter which may or may not be available from the manufacturer. Please contact the manufacturer or us to ensure that the correct power supply for your country is available.
